FileReflex – Remote Desktop Access on Mobile
FileReflex is a remote desktop sharing application that works with smartphones to provide data connectivity through a firewall giving full access to all your desktop files and outlook emails & contacts remotely, whether you’re out on the road or just in the next room.
A smartphone becomes an extended arm of desktops. All you have to do is select the files & outlook folders to be remotely accessed from your Desktops/Laptops, add them to the server Metabase and access them from your Smartphone or Pocket PC.
The platform is fully extensible to allow any Desktop Application(Outlook, Files) for remote access from smartphones. Each desktop application that can be remotely accessed is called FileReflex Apps. These Apps will be automatically made available and will be seen as a menu item when users log in from the Smartphone.
Features of FileReflex
- Multi-Factor Authentication makes sure only the mobile device activated by the user is allowed to access the Desktop.
- Allows to remotely access Documents and Outlook mails from multiple Desktops by installing FileReflex Apps. FileReflex Apps are add-ons that can be searched and installed into the FileReflex Desktop Platform.
- The Print App enables the users to print any shared files from a printer connected to the Desktop client.
- An activation e-mail will be sent to the registered e-mail address when the user tries to log in from a new device.
- The User activates the device from his registered e-mail address.
- Once activated, the users can log in and remote access the desktop Files and Outlook.
- All confidential data between the mobile device and desktop is transferred using the secure HTTP protocol with High-Grade Encryption (AES-256 bit).
- Currently supports Windows and Mac Desktops for FileReflex desktop client, and for FileReflex Smartphone client, it supports iPhone 3.0 and all versions of Blackberry.
- Supports various file formats including DOCX, DOC, XLSX, XLS, PPTX, PPT, TXT, PDF, HTML, JPEG, BMP, PNG, TIFF, MP4, and MP3.
- Allow easy synchronization with Outlook Contacts.
